Air Miles drive me mad!

Oh the joys of using Air Miles! Why can't they just be simple?

Take this as a fine example:

LHR - LAX with Virgin Atlantic, who I have too many miles!

So I was looking at using some of these up for a summer (outside of school holidays, because I'm not daft, we all know you can't use any type of rewards when you really want to) trip to LA. So keeping my outward and return flight dates fixed here are my options for Virgin Atlantic.

Though do need to mention how nice the Virgin customer service agent was in helping me find these prices and actually telling me what was the best option.

Oh and while we are at it Virgin please stop sending me the wrong the flying club card.
